Well done to Oscar S from class 6 for his fantastic research! 

Oscar S from class 6 has been looking into VE Day and FaceTimed his grandma (his great grandma). She attended Banks Lane and has sent us a photo of her at Banks Lane celebrating the end of the war.

This photo shows Oscar’s Great Grandma (Brenda Wilkinson), her brother (Jim Wilkinson) and her Mum, (May Wilkinson). They are also related to Oscar's cousin James W in Class 5

Her Dad was away in Germany in the war and sent her a Christmas card in December 1944.
